Testicular pain is most commonly felt in one or both testes. Usually, the pain can be referred from the abdomen to the groin and involve the penis itself, but it can also spread posterior towards the rectum. Pain can be constant, sharp and shooting in nature. Certain activities such as sitting for long periods, rigorous activity, heavy lifting, biking, and stress can aggravate the pain symptoms. Testicular pain can also interfere with sexual and urinary function. If you are experiencing testicular pain, pelvic floor physical therapy may help alleviate your symptoms.
